Xeomin Treatment

After you have had a consultation with a skin care expert at Self CenteRx to discuss your facial concerns and aesthetic goals, you will be ready to receive Xeomin injections. Your treatment will begin with a thorough cleansing of the injection. Next, the Xeomin will be injected into the muscle of the treatment area using a fine gauge needle.  Most patients do not find the treatment to be painful, but a topical numbing agent can be provided upon request. Xeomin treatments usually take around 10-20 minutes depending on how many areas are being treated. 

Xeomin Results

Common side effects can include mild swelling and bruising at the site of injection, but the appearance of these will fade after a day or two. For the first 24 hours after receiving your Xeomin injections, you will be asked to abstain from any strenuous activities and exercises, as well as avoiding sun exposure, and touching your face. Ou will also be advised not to lie down for at least 4 hours after injections. This is to prevent any unwanted product migration that could lead to some unwanted side effects. You will begin to see results from Xeomin injections as early as 3-4 days after treatment, but do not be worried if it takes up to a week. Results from Xeomin have been shown to last around 3 months but can be longer or shorter depending on the patient.
